The Coctails are the ultimate after hours band, with songs as smooth as Oban on the rocks. On Peel, they showcase another fine array of swank and usually pretty mellow tunes, building ideas slowly on meandering riffs. Occasionally, the band comes together and hammer away as one, picking up a little welcomed drive. This album makes for great come-down music after a hard night's drinking.
